Representing the youth arts community in the Town of Markham. Are you an artist or a singer, a dancer or a photographer, a writer or musician? If so this is the place to be. Join the Markham Teen Arts Council today and show the Town of Markham that the youth of today has what it takes to entertain and manage arts events. In the works are many events planned to get your creative talents noticed. Enter contests and exhibitions to show your peers that you have what it takes. Volunteer for exhibitions and contests and earn respect from the arts community.

The Markham Teen Arts Council is a division of the highly esteemed Markham Arts Council whose mandate is to further the awareness of the arts and culture in Markham by promoting events and groups to the community. By joining the Markham Teen Arts Council, you are showing the community that you are the future of Markham's culture. Without culture a community lacks civility. Culture is history and Markham is proud of its cultural heritage.

So get involved and promote teen arts in Markham! You don't have to be artistic or creative to join — your talents will go a long way as a supporter too!
